Why are the calendar event and invitation settings disabled?

We've found that calendar events with more than 2,000 guests often experience issues with syncing data between calendar and Epoch that's out of our control. To be proactive about these issues, we disable the ability to create calendar events and send calendar invitations to invited guests.

In the future, we'll be working on a solution to accommodate for calendar events for larger events.

What can I do in the meantime?

We recommend using Slack invitations and the Epoch event page link to invite guests to your event.

If you need to create a calendar event for your Epoch event, it's best to duplicate the Epoch event and invite guests in groups under 2,000 each.
