How do I sign up for an event?

There are 3 ways to confirm into an event:

1. Slack: Click Confirm on any event message.
2. Calendar: Click Yes on the calendar invite.
3. Epoch web app (companyname.epochapp.com): Click Confirm on the event page.

Can I register for an event on Slack?

‍

Yes! You can register for an event from a Slack Announcement that gets sent to a certain Slack channel you're in. You'll see the interactive RSVP buttons so you can easily click the "Confirm" button right in Slack and that will register you for the event.

You will also be notified under the Epoch App for events that you've been invited to and you can also register from there.

How do I know what time zone an event is offered in? Are events automatically configured to my time zone?

‍

Events will be shown in your local timezone based on your computer's settings and you can see the time zone right next to the event's time.
