1. Go to Manage community from the Communities Dashboard
2. Click on the Members tab
3. Click on the Invite members button
4. Select the members you would like to invite to the community. You can select individual members, invite members by distrolist, by Slack channel, or by importing member emails.
5. Click Next once you have selected all members you wish to invite.

Set members as invited or active

‍

Members can be added as invited or active. Invited members will need to choose to join the community. Adding members as active does not require them to join the community, they will automatically be set to active without joining.

If you are adding existing members of an ERG to your community, consider adding the members as active members.

Connecting a distrolist (email group) or Slack channel to your Community

‍

If you connect a distrolist or Slack channel to your Community, new members in connected Slack channels and distrolists will be automatically invited to this community. Removing a group won’t affect existing members.

‍

You can connect both a distrolist and Slack channel to the same Community.
