What is an event questionnaire?

An event questionnaire is a survey which guests can fill out when they register for an event. Responses can be submitted at any time before an event ends.

An event questionnaire can be used to collect pre-event information, like dietary restrictions or logistical information.

How to customize a questionnaire

  1. Create (or edit) an event.
  2. On the Surveys step, choose Yes for the event questionnaire.
  3. Select Start from scratch or Use a template.
  4. Choose from long answer, single choice, multiple choice, or linear scale.
  5. Write your question.
  6. Choose if the question should be required or optional.
  7. Click Add question to add more questions, and rearrange or delete questions if needed.
  8. To make your changes live, click Publish.

How to view questionnaire form results

  1. Navigate to your event (either in the Past tab or the Published tab in your Events dashboard).
  2. Go to the Insights page.
  3. Go to the Event questionnaire section. You can scroll between questions and see responses by question.
  4. You can also download a CSV to access this data.

Event questionnaire notifications

Note that registered guests who don't respond to all required questions will be sent Slack and email reminders every 24 hours at 12:00 PM UTC.

This can happen if a guest responds "Yes" on the calendar event without filling out the questionnaire or a new required question is added.
