Epoch’s Slackbot or an Admin will post about upcoming events in a channel. Click on the event title to learn more about the event on Epoch.
Here's a sample of what the event messages will look like:
RSVP to events
To RSVP to an event on Slack, click on any of the buttons on the event message:
Confirm means you're attending and your spot is confirmed. You'll receive a calendar invite with a "Yes" status and related reminders on Slack and/or email.
Interested means you're not sure if you can attend yet. You'll receive a calendar invite with a "Maybe" status and related reminders on Slack and/or email. Make sure to update your RSVP to "Confirm" if you're planning to attend.
Decline means you aren't able to attend. You won't receive any further communications.
Join waitlist means the event is full. You'll automatically be added to an event when a spot opens up.
Updating your RSVP on any platform will automatically sync with the Epoch web app, calendar, and Slack.
